A five day Suzuki violin institute from July 6th-10th, 2026 in Vienna, Austria

The Location

The Violin Garden Summer Academy at Palace Miller-Aichholz

Nestled in the heart of a stunning six-hectare garden, the historic Palace Miller-Aichholz offers a truly magical setting for our Summer Academy. With a hotel and restaurant on site, as well as spacious grounds for outdoor activities, this unique venue combines comfort, beauty, and history. Located in Vienna’s 14th district—known as Europahaus—it is just 25 minutes from the city center and 40 minutes from the airport, and easily reachable by public transport.

 A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience
Imagine your child making music in the grand rooms of a palace, surrounded by other young violinists from around the world, guided by an inspiring international faculty. Group classes will take place in the palace’s elegant halls and in the dedicated music rooms of the hotel. During outdoor sessions, children will enjoy the expansive gardens, supervised by our experienced activity team.

The Academy begins with a festive Opening Ceremony in the palace’s graceful Festsaal, and concludes with a celebratory Final Concert in the on-site Europahaus Conference Hall—an unforgettable way to crown a week of music and friendship.

A Place Where History Lives
Palace Miller-Aichholz was originally built in 1750 as a hunting lodge for Johann Georg von Grechtler, who received the estate as a gift from Empress Maria Theresa. Over the centuries, the palace passed through the hands of several owners before becoming property of the Republic of Austria. In the 20th century, it was preserved from decay thanks to the Austrian Young Workers’ Movement (ÖJAB), which transformed it into a vibrant center of education. Since 1956, in partnership with the Austrian Republic, it has flourished as a cultural and educational institution under the Europahaus Society.

Today, this historic palace becomes the home of Violin Garden Summer Academy—where children don’t just play music, they live it.

It is to look for love, truth, virtue and beauty.”
